Colette Anderson

Colette Anderson remembers, “I loved Mars Hill. I learned to analyze worldviews. This enabled me to tie [it] into conversations about truth and the Bible. Speech and debate helped with professional communication skills. I [am] more confident in interviews, speeches, and teaching opportunities.” Colette hopes “Stoa continues to encourage students to... communicate effectively and think critically in a world that needs clear and humble articulators of truth.” She adds, “I need to be reminded to not take these skills for granted, or use them for my own selfish gain, but use those gifts for His glory!”

Colette earned a BA in Education Science from UC Irvine and now pursues an MA/teaching credential from California State Fullerton. Read more about Colette’s story and her wise words about dealing with people who disagree with us here.
