Worth It!: Encouraging New Families
Over the last couple of months, we have shared interview clips from alumni who have told us just how impactful their Stoa experience was. It is easy for alumni and experienced parents to look back on their Stoa journey and see that all the hard work and sacrifice was worth it. However, it is easy to doubt when you are new and just starting out.
The speech and debate learning curve is steep. Gaining confidence to speak in public is difficult enough; adding the challenges of learning complex strategies, researching, working with teammates, and experiencing competition makes it even tougher.
