What better way to begin your year than with a smile as you serve! Stoa’s Servant Heart Award recognizes both clubs and individuals for their character and speaking skills. Everyone is welcome to participate!
Creativity abounds when we set our hearts to encouraging and inspiring others, but here are a few ideas to get you started:
Read aloud to foster care children
Perform platforms or interps for nursing home residents
Develop and then play some speech warm-up games with hospital patients
Offer a free speech and debate workshop
Many acts of kindness do not require you to be physically present; you can do these activities virtually as well. Put your public speaking skills to use, serve, and bring joy to someone’s life! Document your experience through pictures or videos and share it with us. We look forward to serving and smiling with you!
