Thea Dunlevie

Thea Dunlevie’s Stoa journey began as a “timer-extraordinaire” while attending tournaments with her family. As a competitor, she took part in the full gamut of Stoa events. She explained, “I loved running from an Extemporaneous speech about Russian military advancements to acting out a crazy story from an 18th-century French play in Open Interpretation.” The camaraderie between Stoa students was always a highlight, too. Now pursuing an M.A. in Security Studies at Georgetown University, she sees her Stoa experience live on past graduation. “I have bumped into many Stoa alumni in D.C. and there is an instant connection.” Thea graduated from UCLA in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations in 2019.
