Every local club can have their own website!

Stoa has a simple website builder to feature local club information on the web! Stoa partnered with our web developers to make it truly simple for every club to be able to build their own website or “Clubsite.” No experience is needed. All of the necessary programming has been put in place behind the scenes to make it easy for the user to create a unique website built on the foundation of the national Stoa website. Greater Detail:

  1. Basic Clubsite
    • Annual fee: $25 (August 1 – July 31)
    • Includes:
      • Creation of ‘mini’ website with the theme of the Stoa website and direct links to up-to-date files, ballots, helps, and information, both desktop, and mobile design.
        • The default configuration includes a Home page, About Us page, Contact Us page (with form), Meetings page and a Blog page.
        • Contact Form — To contact the leader in the club, as opposed to just an email link. Includes creating fields/questions for a person to complete.
        • Ability to create new pages.
        • Form Builder – The ability to create forms is built into the site.
        • Password Protected Pages – The ability to create password-protected pages is built into the site.
        • Easily add photos or videos to Clubsite.
      • Direct link to club website listed on the Stoa club page.
      • Existing social media accounts featured. If a club does not use social media yet, Stoa can help for an additional fee. See Marketing Add-ons, below.
      • Tech support that is familiar with Stoa and clubs.
      • All software updates maintained by Stoa.
      • Club leaders will have the ability to manage their own Club site.

Beyond the basic Clubsite, clubs may add additional features for an additional cost. These will be billed to cover the necessary administrative expenses.
Note: there are many other potential features available. Clubs can contact Stoa and ask for help with any website add-ons, and we will consider and price on a case-by-case basis.

Website Add-ons:

  1. Domain Mapping
    • If a club already owns a domain or wants their already created website swapped over, Stoa/Keenly (the web development team) can interact with the various services to make this happen.
  1. Donation Form
    • Allow people to make direct payments or donations to the club (not to Stoa).
    • Clubs could use this for members to register for local club, or buy club books or tshirts, pay for banquet fees, etc. http://stoausa.org/donate/
  1. Custom Donation
    • Custom donation arrangements such as: Stripe, Paypal, Square, credit cards, or shopping carts (to sell club products), etc. This will require some coordination with vendors.

If a club wants to add features that are marketing related, such as to help gain more visibility for their club, Stoa/Keenly Interactive can help with that as well. The pricing is more uncertain here, because there is so much variability in potential requests.

Marketing Add-ons:

  1. Search Engine Optimization Services
    • These are various strategies to increase the amount of visitors to a Clubsite by obtaining a high-ranking placement in the search results page of the search engine (like Google, Bing, etc.)
  1. Social Media
    • In addition to the ability to link already existing accounts to the Clubsite (built-in functionality), Stoa/Keenly Interactive can help a club set up accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
      • Requests for social media management or blasts are an additional service and fee.
  2. Content Management
    • If the club wants Stoa to update and maintain all the content on their Clubsite, as opposed to a student or parent maintaining the information
  1. Custom Video Content
    • Adding custom videos to the Clubsite.
    • This is more involved and requires additional technical support from Stoa’s partner in web development Keenly Interactive.
  1. Design/Branding
    • Designing collateral, branding and other items that are more unique to individual clubs. (Collateral is printed material – business cards, brochures, flyers – used to provide information about a business and give it an image using a consistent theme, colors, mottos.) These items will be contracted with Keenly Interactive on a case by case basis.
